In early 2023, BMO acquired Bank of the West. M&A can be stressful for everyone involved, but no one more so than the employees of the company being absorbed.

To calm some of these nerves, we wanted to show Bank of the West how closely their purposes align. We aimed to show them that their commitment to customers, their communities, and one another would only be stronger when the two banks combined under the BMO roundel.

To do this, we interviewed numerous employees and customers to find not only compelling stories but also ones that carried the emotion of hope we wanted our audience to feel after viewing them.
